Norwegian Apple Pie

Jean made two dishes in the Gilmore Park Church cooking club meeting. Her first dish is a Norwegian Apple Pie which is a crust less pie.

This pie is good for peoples who watch their cholesterol as it uses only egg white.

Norwegian Apple Pie

The Norwegian Pie is best served warm with some vanilla ice-cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup diced apples

  1. That’s a great idea. My Dad is a big pie fan, but needs to watch his fats. I’ll give this a go.

  2. hmmmm yummy
Sorry, I wonder my blogspot in your blogroll said by agnes, pepy and lawrence. Those 2 names don’t have any correlation with my blog “the art and science of food”. I only put those two names for my header. Lawrence took the pic and agnes cropped it and it was redesigned by me. Thank you

  3. That sounds great, sort of like a cross between a meringue and a pie.

  4. Hi Andaliman, sorry for the mistake, it had been rectified.
