		<description>Are you all mad?  Plastic bags are not meant to be boil baggies from the mid or late 80&#039;s.  That stuff is toxic if you boil it.  If you don&#039;t want to cook, send your kids out to eat.  Do Poision them in your own home!</description>

You are correct.  I had just checked the http://ziploc.com website and they had provided the following guidance:

7. Can I boil in Ziploc® Brand bags?
No. Ziploc® Brand bags are not designed to withstand the extreme heat of boiling.
