Go up Granville to around 61st Ave to a new place called: “The Old Place” (Lao Di Fang in Mandarin). It’s on the east side of the street next to a Starbucks.

Not Taiwanese style beef noodle but mainland northern style. Very good and cheap. Place lacks good ambiance though.

Hi Tree2727: Oh yeah, thanks for telling us. We did not know that they were closed. I really have no idea where they are now. I’ll update the blog saying that they are now closed.

this is just the kind of place i love finding. Cheap but not dirty and the food looks quaint and tasty.

will definitely make a trip there before I leave town.

We should go there together when Cat and I head up to Vancouver next. The wedding is in July, so we’ll probably be up in September.
