I agree! The pulled pork here is very good. The quality is the same at the North Van location, on Lonsdale.

I work very close to the W. Broadway location and I have been to the N. Van location also. It’s very good food. You can toss out the diet but it’s worth it!

Huh. I never imagined you’d be able to get Southern BBQ in British Columbia. Looks good.

It always makes me sad when I have to let a contractor’s contract expire. You know they were hoping to get hired. It’s almost as bad as when you have to let someone go.

One of my minor gripes about MB BBQ House is they could be more generous with the portions of corn bread. Same with the baked beans too.

Went to new “Southern” eatery on Cambie/19th called DADEO on their first day of business (they took over Tomato Fresh Cafe’s old space). Not bad but they have some rough edges to work out. I was very disappointed with my fried chicken …… meat was dry and tough, no crispy skins on outside. For $15 it was a real letdown. But staff did come around and ask for our opinions of the food, so it seems they are consciencious of customer reaction. Will try again in a few weeks. They also have a number of Po’ Boys on the menu :-)
