		<description>Ben,

You must meant SFO (San Francisco International Airport). LAX is Los Angeles International Airport, down in my neck of the woods. BART starts in Milbrae, goes to SFO, then heads downtown and into the East Bay. You could actually have taken the Caltrain from San Jose (or anywhere else in Silicon Valley) up to Milbrae, then hopped onto the BART for a tour of the city. That's what my friends and I do.

The blue double-decker bridge in your pictures is the Bay Bridge. You're right. It's often mistaken for the Golden Gate.

I think it's hilarious that Cat and I were in San Francisco within days of you guys. We were showing her relatives from Victoria and Halifax around the city. I grew up in Santa Clara County/Silicon Valley, and Cat's father put himself through law school in San Francisco by driving a cab. We showed them *everything*. =D

<description>Yes, that is gross. Apparently, there's also one in Post Alley, Seattle, USA: &lt;a href="http://seattle-daily-photo.blogspot.com/2007/01/market-theater-gum-wall.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://seattle-daily-photo.blogspot.com/2007/01/market-theater-gum-wall.html&lt;/a&gt; - I'd hate to accidentally trip and lean on that!
