I live about 5 minutes from this place but have never visited; have only been to Sushi Garden.
Not a huge fan of these unauthentic places that seem to emphasize quantity over quality.
A bit further down Kingsway is a place called Sushi House, which is my favorite in the area (not sure if it's still there though...)

Hey Ben,

Glad you like Asakusa Sushi too, it's my favorite in the Metrotown area after Kura and Isami. Haven't tried Yakko yet but I've walked by them a gazillion times.

"Oh, what do you think of the practice of mixing wasabi with soya sauce?"

You have to, that's the Japanese way of eating sushi. Can't be wrong trying to be authentic. Placing wasabi on sushi and mixing wasabi in soy sauce taste the same to me. They both taste wasabish.

Must have wasabi with sushi. Wasabi kills germs in raw fish.
