I had the lamb for lunch and it was delicious. The meat was nice and tender and the skin was very tasty. Even my mother, who is very picky, enjoyed the slow cooked and seasoned meat. I didn't go for the bougatsa though, too many calories.

So everyone, I highly recommend you try it before it's gone for another year.

My mom went to this and brought home some greek pastry. I can't say I liked it tho, it just tasted different, I guess. But the lamb looks really delicious!

You're so lucky to be given the VIP treatment. Now that you've shared the "insider's" view, I want to try it again. In the past, I didn't know whether the high prices were worth it, but now knowing that the lamb comes from New Zealand (the best) and is treated with TLC, I definitely want to give it another try.

Maybe tomorrow? I might even break the bank and have some dessert and greek coffee to go with it.

I used to live in one of those houses where the backyard faces the festival. :) They are great. hey know that it will be loud, and so they always give the neighborhood free food tickets for dealing with the noise (music). Incredibly fun neighborhood event. I LOVE lamb!
