Congratulations on your 4th year anniversary. Hey, I noticed I tied fmed with 46 comments. I would have beaten him if my previous comments using my old handle were added. :) »
I went to this restaurant for lunch when it first opened. The restaurant was really clean which i appreciated but i was not impressed by their food.I ordered chicken udon.I've had udon at every other restaurant in richmond and it had never been like this.First off they used ramen soup base which i cant stand, and they also put alot of wierd things in the soup and left the skin on the chicken. This restaurant serves food similar to the taiwanese restaurant that was there before...and i didnt go the... »
I agree Ben. The dishes we had were decent, but not great (much less exceptional). I've always wondered if the chefs at ethnic restaurants tone down the flavors if the guests are of a different ethnicity - for eg. Non-Indians at an Indian restaurant, Non-Chinese at a Chinese restaurant, etc. - to reduce the chances of offending the guests (or prevent send-backs). Boy, you sure got this post up quickly. Dear Ben,In answer to your question, oddly enough, the best part of the lobster the elbow! It may take a bit more work to get at the meat, but it is the most tender part; my favourite part. Followed by the claw, and lastly the tail, which can be a little chewier. It was a pleasure to have you at the Teahouse!Chef Francois Gagnon »
Hi guys, Very nice review, I like the way u walk us through the entire ordeal... haha.I went there and also waited for 1 hr. Ordered the thick noodles, and I regretted. In comparison of the noodles only, the thick noodles at 41st/Cambie were much much much better then the $11 bowl. I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering the thick noodle at Aberdeen. »

Estea is a BBT hangout, but you should really go check out some of the food. They have a large assortment of different Taiwanese dishes and a large selection of different hot pots as well. But I do have to say that I prefer the hot pots at Pearl Castle more than the ones at Estea. But definitely go chec... »
