The food looks delicious! I was born in Thailand, but I haven't tasted any authentic Thai food since I was 3, aside from the occasional Thai dish that my mother makes at home.

The Pla Mul Pad Prik looks so mouth watering. In your description, you noted that the dish had figs in it. I think those are actually Thai Eggplants. My mother uses them in dishes quite a bit.

Anyways, I want to thank Chow Times for constantly blogging. I just keep coming back to read more. :)

Such mouth-watering pics! Glad to see the pad thai is not "pink" from ketchup which a lot of restaurants use.

Sounds like you guys had a great time there regardless of the taste of the food. Some dishes looks good. I love your thorough review. Thanks for sharing Ben. Great review.

PS. Just be careful though when you call Thai people with western names. Some may find it offensive. :)

Hey, looking at the blogger's picture, I don't see any overweight food blogger there. One would think with all the eating you guys do you will all be 300 lbs heavy. Actually it is us the readers that are becoming fat from reading your food blogs. :)

I love the picture of us bloggers!! It was nice to be around people that do the same thing lol.

Did you like the Tangthai on Broadway or Robson more? Was the quality and flavours almost the same or is there a better location?

Thanks for inviting me to the tasting Ben!

btw you may be a "small blogger" but you have quite the name as a Vancouver blogger so I can totally understand them putting up a poster of you! That's great!
