    The Peranakan song was fun.

I found myself looking up things I didn’t know, like onde onde.

Dunno about Vancouver, but gulam melaka or Malaysian palm sugar
    - the real McCoy- is difficult to obtain in London but no
problem with obtaining fresh pandan leaf.

The Thai and Indian/Sri Lankan paler-coloured palm sugar
available is nowhere quite as good.

Love onde onde that can’t eat enough of when a kid
and even as an adult in Malaysia.Oh memories…
