Hot Cross Buns are traditionally served on Good Friday. Hot Cross Buns are sweet buns made with currents and always have a cross on the top, symbolizing the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.
We bought the hot cross buns from Save-On-Foods. It costs about $2.99 for a loaf of 12 buns. I am not sure about everyone else but I always like it with a mug of hot chocolate — dunked. So, here’s wishing everyone a Happy Easter and may this time brings you thoughts of the sacrifice of God and the triumph over death.
