Chocolaty Brownies


Have you ever crave for a slice of dense chocolaty brownie? Sometimes I do have such a craving. I have just the perfect recipe to satisfy such crave. It is a dense and moist brownie which is crispy on the outside.

A research found that cocoa is great for lowering bad cholesterol. Why not have a little indulgent which is good for your body.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, pecan or walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350F. Sift the flour and baking powder together in a bowl and set aside.

Brownie003_edited-1Melt the butter and cocoa in a medium saucepan on medium heat.
Brownie004_edited-1When the butter melted, add in the sugar and mix well.
Brownie006_edited-1Remove from the heat. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well to combine after each addition.
Brownie007_edited-1Stir in the sifted dry ingredients.

Brownie009_edited-1Lastly, stir in the vanilla.
Brownie010_edited-1Spread the batter in a 13 x 9 inches buttered baking dish.

Bake in the center rack of the oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not over bake or the brownie will be dry.

This is a heavenly brownie for chocolate lovers.

  1. what i like about this brownies are: easy one pot preparation, no mixer necessary and very intense chocolate taste. it turned out great. easy to slice and melt in your mouth. to die for brownies. thank you for sharing.

    What would you suggest me to use to make your recipies… OTG or a microwave….

  3. Is it really ture that cocoa can lowering the cholesterol? (Because I need to watch out the fatty food as much as possible.) Hmm… but then the sugar may balance it out… Maybe the solution is to eat dark chocolate only then… hehe
