Sweet Peanut Butter Pancake

With the remainder of the dough, Ming made some Sweet Peanut Butter Pancake. This will be a hit with kids who like peanut butter.

The Sweet Peanut Butter Pancake is nutty and sweet, my kind of dessert.

  • All purpose flour
  • Water
  • Peanut butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Oil for pan frying

Click on the link below for the instructions.

IMG_5539Mix peanut butter with brown sugar, about one to one ratio or up to your preference of sweetness.
IMG_5556Divide the dough into golf ball size. Roll out dough and fill with peanut butter mixture. You may also fill this with red bean paste.
IMG_5560Use another piece of rolled out dough to cover the peanut butter filled dough. Press the seam to seal it.
IMG_5563Use a sharp knife to trim off excess dough.
IMG_5579Pan fry in an oiled pan on medium low heat until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel.Serve warm. The pancake will harden if left too long as this is an unleavened dough.

Ming, thank you for sharing the two types of pancakes.

These sound and look sooo good. I think I’m going to have to make a Nutella version as well. Almond butter and banana, too? I love this!
