BBQ Chicken Thighs

The second item on the BBQ list for the South Arm Cooking Club for Seniors is chicken thigh.


The BBQ Chicken Thighs were flavourful and simple to prepare and clean up.


  • 12 chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons or Herbs de Provence
  • 2 tablespoons of ground black pepper

Prep time: 5 minutes;  Cook time: 40 minutes;  Serves 6


BBQ-Chicken-Thigh-2-300x200Preheat the grill to medium high heat.Combine the marinate ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
BBQ-Chicken-Thigh-3-300x200Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Marinate the chicken thighs with the marinates for at least 20 minutes.
BBQ-Chicken-Thigh-4-300x200Grill the chicken in the preheated grill covered, skin side down first, turning a once or twice until juices run clear, about 40 minutes.

    The photograph shows balsamico and lemon juice, but the recipe shows no acid at all. Is there an error in the recipe?

      Hi Kelli, It is unfortunate that I can’t verify the recipe with Jorge as he is no longer with the Richmond Community Kitchen.
