Ben and I wanted to go to Lido for lunch but the parking was full, as usual. So, we ended up going to Aberdeen Center. While exploring where to eat, we noticed that Northern Delicacy was closed with a note on the door stating the closure was due to failure to pay rent. So sad.
We decided to try ABC HK Cafe since we have not try this place before. The previous occupant, 7th Heaven Cafe was a HK style restaurant too.
The restaurant is spacious.
The views from the restaurant.
I ordered a Lamb Hotpot as I was craving for it especially in the cold winter. The lamb was a bit tough. It was a big pot and we ended up packing quite a lot of the leftover home.
Ben ordered a combo lunch where he picked Malaysian curry chicken as his main. It was a very mild curry, hongkong style, instead.
I think the combo comes with a choice of rice, spaghetti or prata bread. Of course Ben picked prata bread. He was disappointed when it arrived as it was just two small pieces of it.
The combo also comes with a drink. Ben’s choice was ice milk tea and as usual, $1 extra for cold drink.
ABC HK Cafe accepts credit card.

For this type of food, I think I prefer the food court. There is so many yummy items to choose from.
I can’t believe Northern Delicacy has closed down. I really like their food and there is always a line-up.
I also found out that Tropika closed down too! They owed $50,000+. So sad. Restaurant business is hard to run successfully.
