Lunch time is always busy in Oriental Plaza especially the food court and budget restaurants.
Mian Ai Mian is one of the budget noodle place. Ben had a spicy noodle with ground pork. It is RMB24 (CAD4).
I had a plain pork broth noodle for just RMB15 (CAD2.50).

We woke up to a light flurry in Beijing. It is very rare to have snow in Beijing as it’s very dry in Beijing.

I love lamb. Ben brought me to a Xinjiang Restaurant to satisfy my craving for lamb.
I believe the cutlery is outsourced for cleaning. It is wrapped in set when served to customer as quality assurance.
Lamb skewer is just RMB2 each; minimum order 5.

Ben brought me to one of his favourite restaurant here; Mei Zhou Tung Bo.
Mei Zhou Tung Bo is located at the top level of a shopping mall and it is bright and spacious.
We ordered Mei Zhou Tung Bo’s signature dish; pork knuckle in sour and spicy sauce. The pork skin just melts in our mouth. Continue reading
It was a very cold day. Temperature was around -10 degrees Celsius. So, Ben and I just had lunch in Oriental Plaza.
We had lunch at Seveana. Sevenana is another fast food chain here. The above was a Chicken Rice combo. It came with coleslaw, seaweed egg drop soup and steamed rice.
We also had a Spicy and Sour Noodle Soup.
The meal was just RMB34 (about CAD6).

Ben and I went for lunch at Golden Leopard International Buffet on a Friday.
This is the biggest buffet we had ever been too. Buffet lunch is at RMB198 (CAD33) per person and limit to 1 1/2 hours.
There is even a life band performing in the buffet.
