Ben brought me to have lunch at Western Mahua, a Xinjiang restaurant.
We had Enoki Salad as appetizer. This was crunchy and refreshing.
We also had lamb skewers which was tender and moist.
The above was crispy beef strips coasted with sesame seeds. It’s a great snack.
We had “Da Pan Ji” for our main. It’s chicken cooked with red peppers and onions with some broad noodles.
The handmade noodle was in long strands. We love the chewy texture of the noodle.
The bill came to CAD23.
We took a stroll at night. The above was the grand stair case of Oriental Plaza.
One of the fountain in the compound of Oriental Plaza.
We walked all the way to the Beijing Railway Station. It is one of the 10 grandest buildings built for the 10th anniversary of the communist party.
