Random Eats in Beijing – Noodle & Dessert

Lunch time is always busy in Oriental Plaza especially the food court and budget restaurants.

Mian Ai Mian is one of the budget noodle place. Ben had a spicy noodle with ground pork. It is RMB24 (CAD4).

I had a plain pork broth noodle for just RMB15 (CAD2.50).

Ben also ordered a side dish of lady fingers; also RMB15. It was sweet and sour and quite appetizing.

After lunch, we stopped by Honeymoon Dessert for dessert. It was very rare to find a table here during lunch time.

I had a Milk Pudding with sliced almond and walnut. This was RMB26.

Ben had a Snow and Black Pearl Dessert for RMB27. It has coconut milk, basil seeds and fresh and dried fruit.

Ironically, the dessert was more expensive than our lunch.
