After breakfast, we ventured out to explore the Berjaya Time Square neighbourhood. It was still early and most shops were not open yet. Although it’s still early in the day, it was already hot and humid.

We went back to the hotel to escape the heat while waiting for our lunch appointment with our ex-colleague. In the hotel lobby, we heard a bridal car came honking. We just stayed in the lobby to catch the excitement of the wedding.

Bad luck hit me as a nose pad of my glasses was broken. We had to go back out to Berjaya Time Square to look for an optical shop to fix my glasses.  The optical was so kind to fix it for me for free.

I recalled Ben had to replace his glasses nose pads few years back. He went back to his regular optical shop in Richmond to get them replaced and was charged CAD$10 for it. Since then, that optical shop lost Ben’s business.

We came across Meet Fresh in Berjaya Time Square near the optical shop. Since we already had a big breakfast, we decided to share a dessert.

After paying for our order, we were given the above gadget which will light up when our order is ready to be picked up.

We shared an icy herbal jelly for RM6.90 (CAD2.30). The chewy mochi added a different texture to the slippery jelly. Cream was served on the side for those who like to add creaminess to the dessert.

Since it was December, the mall was decorated with Christmas decorations.
