Deer Garden in Continental Centre has moved to Union Square.
Ben and I had an early lunch at this new location since it just opened for the day and there is no wait yet. Deer Garden is usually busy at peak lunch hour.
Awards wining plaques decorated the wall at the entrance of the restaurant.
The restaurant has simple and clean lined decor.
Since I was not hungry, I ordered their Special French Toast with butter and peanut butter to snack on. The Special French Toast is in bite size pieces, unlike most other Hong Kong style restaurants which serve French Toast in whole. This gives it a higher ratio of crispy outside.
Ben ordered a Curry Chicken Fillet on Rice. The Hong Kong style curry is creamy and on the sweet side. It is not spicy hot but does have the fragrance of spices. This comes with a bowl of steamed rice.
Our orders came with a hot drink. We had Hong Kong style coffee and milk tea each.
It is a good place to eat only if there is no long wait time.

We tried going to Bubble World in this mall about 2 weeks ago but couldn’t because the parking lot was unusually packed so we had to leave. We thought we go to Deer Garden in the neighbouring strip mall, but when we got there we saw it had shut down. Shortly we learned Deer Garden moved to Union Sq which explained the heavy traffic.
