It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Ben and I went to QE Park for a leisure walk.
It was a very pleasant morning as it was not too sunny for a walk. I actually enjoys cloudy days.
After the walk, we went to Chinatown for early lunch. It’s been a while since we come down to Chinatown. We can clearly see revitalization here with a lot of new buildings.
We ended up having lunch at Gold Stone Bakery & Restaurant on Keefer Street. The restaurant is surprisingly big.
Ben wanted a light lunch. He ordered two pineapple buns for himself. But I stole one from him.
Ben had HongKong style coffee while I had HongKong style milk tea. The drinks were pretty good.
I ordered the Stir Fried Beef Noodle as I saw a couple of tables near us having that. This was pretty good with good “wok hei” (breath of wok). I like the abundance of bean sprout in it. Since I stole a pineapple bun from Ben, he got to have some of my noodles.
This restaurant accepts cash only.

Careful with their buns. They seem to have a habit of microwaving them before serving to customers. I always made a point to the waitress not to do that when we order buns for in dining. It’s big, but i don’t like how it is rather dark in lighting. Haven’t been there for a couple of years though.
