After a gruel some run on a very hot day, Nanzaro wanted a reward of his favourite food.
He suggested to have lunch at Kyo Korean BBQ & Sushi House on Granville St, Vancouver. You can click on the photo above to have a larger view.
The restaurant is pleasantly decorated. There are private rooms if want to have more privacy.
We started off with miso soup, gomae and sweet and sour daikon. I really like the sweet and sour daikon which helps to cleanse our palate.
Sashimi is limited to 8 pieces per person.
The highlight for me was the Korean BBQ as I’m not a fan of sushi. It’s fun to grill the meat ourselves.
Teriyaki chicken and gyoza.
Various cones.
Various sushi.
Various rolls.
Some deep fried items like mochi, yam and chicken wings.
Nanzaro had a satisfying meal. We did feel the food had quite a bit of msg. Kyo accepts credit card.
