Chicago Day 3: The Architecture River Cruise

Ben bought the 3 Days Go Chicago Card for our next 3 days adventure. It costs USD149 per person.

Our first adventure was the Chicago Architecture River Cruise. We made it just in time for the first cruise of the day. The river cruise is a great way to see Chicago’s skyline from the river.

Here are some of the photos we took for the river cruise. A raised bridge with the John Hancock Center in the background. John Hancock Center is the 4th tallest building in Chicago and 8th tallest in the United States.

The reflection of Chicago skyline on the Nuveen Investments is fascinating.

The above building is complete with boat landing.

Willis Tower or more commonly known as Sears Tower design was inspired by a package of cigarettes. It’s the tallest building in Chicago and the second tallest in the United States.

The Chicago Tribune Tower, a neo-Gothic design.

The Trump Tower, the fourth tallest building in the United States and the second tallest in Chicago.

Lake Point Tower is a residential building in downtown Chicago by the Lake Michigan.

View of the ferries wheel at the Navy Pier.

Under a bridge.

The Centennial Fountain which shoots a massive water arc across the river on the hour, every hour.

It was a great day to be on the river cruise with blue skies and few clouds. The river cruise is about an hour.
