After exploring the Cheongyecheon Stream, we went to the Kwang Jang Market.
Gwangjang Market was previously known as Dongdaemun Market.
Gwangjang Market is another traditional street market with more than 5000 shops.
Here are some of the stuff you’ll find in the market; traditional Korean clothing.
Artificial food.
What interest us most is the food section.
Piles of mungbean pancakes.
We got one to try. The pancake was refried to crispy before serving to us. This is KRW4000 (CAD4).
The pancake is served with some raw onions in soy sauce.
There are various types of mochi or rice cakes.
We bought a pack for snack later. The above was KRW3,000 (CAD3).
We had lunch at a restaurant in the market with proper seating.
The cutlery is stored in a sunken compartment at the table.
We had blood sausage, pork stomach, pork feet and liver.
The condiments for our food.
The meal came with soup. This meal cost KRW10,000 (CAD10).
