I’m taking a break from the Paris series for some local restaurants review.
Ben and I went out for lunch on a rainy Saturday.
We went to the above relatively new Korean restaurant across the new City Center Community Center in central Richmond.
We were the first customers as it was just past 11:30AM. The restaurant was quite big.
Ben ordered the Pork Tofu Soup. It came with a raw egg for us to crack into the bubbling hot pot. Ben opted for medium spicy for his soup.
I had the Spicy Pork Rib Soup with Potatoes. My pot looked larger than Ben’s pot. It’s because mine has two chunks of pork back bone. Our soup came with steamed rice.
The one problem I find it here is that they do not give me a plate for picking the meat out of the bone. It’s difficult to do it inside the hot pot. Moreover, they do not give us a container/vessel to put the bones after we are done with it.
They served banchans after they brought us our hot pots, which is not the regular practice.
