My family went out for a late lunch before dropping Ben at the airport for a week business trip. So, Ben has the say on where to eat since he will be missing his comfort food for a week. He picked Sanbo Restaurant.

Initially he wanted to get the House Special Chicken but the server told us that the House Special Chicken is only served at dinner time. So, we had the Hainanese Chicken instead which is also good.

I loved the ginger sauce which comes with the Hainanese chicken.

The next dish is Tofu and Rock Cod Hotpot. The boneless Rock Code was lightly battered and deep fried. Besides the two main ingredients, there are also bok choy at the bottom of the pot and some plump shiitake mushroom. I also like the whole garlic in the hotpot.

The last comfort food which Ben ordered was Salted Fish Steamed Minced Pork. This dish took a while to come.

The complementary daily soup of the day was pork bone soup with carrot. I like the daily soup which is full of flavour with long simmering time.
