After the walk at QE Park, Ben suggested to take the Canada Line to downtown since the day is still early.
Canada Place was buzzing with tourists as there were 2 cruise ships at the dock.
These cruise ships are huge, like an apartment block.

Water Fountain at Waterfront Center overlooking the Cruise Ship dock at Canada Place.
After exploring the downtown, we took the Canada Line back to Cambie where we parked our car.
We decided to have dinner at Corner 23 just across the King Edward station.
The menu looks grand.
Corner 23 is affiliated with Uncle Lu in Richmond.
We ordered two appetizers and a main to share. The first item was Deep Fried Oyster. This is served with a sweet chili sauce. The pieces were lightly coated and just slightly crisp on the outside and soft inside.
The second appetizer was Taiwanese Sausage. The sausage was sweetish.
It was served with raw garlic pieces which add pungentness to it.
Our main dish was the signature Wan Luan Pork Hock Noodle. It came with a chili garlic sauce which is also quite pungent.
The pork hock was tender and the fatty skin just melts in your mouth.
Corner 23 accepts cash only.
Hi Ben and Suanne,
Long time reader here!
Just a heads up..Corner 23 is now closed every Monday.
I was there recently on a rainy Monday night..only to find a notice with the change of hours.
It was sad..because I really wanted some Taiwanese crispy chicken that day!
