Ben brought me to Hi Genki at the Nikkei House for lunch on his day off work.
We were there before noon and was lucky to get the last table without wait. A line quickly form after that.
Some Japanese style decorations at the entrance.
The teapot is unique.
We ordered two items to share. The first item was a deluxe bento box with salmon sashimi. tempura, teriyaki chicken and rice.
The miso which came with the meal was hot and tasty.
The second item we ordered was the Spicy Chicken Karage. The lightly crispy chicken has a mild spicy and tangy taste which is appetizing.
After our main course, we ordered a Tempura Ice-cream to share. It was drizzled with raspberry sauce and it was huge.
The tempura ice-cream is certainly good for 2 person to share.
Credit card is accepted here.
The service is a bit slow but we dont mind the wait.
We noticed a lot of the seniors who dined here had leftover to take out as the serving here is quite big for seniors.
After the meal, we took a short walk to the garden outside.
