After the salmon tour, the bus brought us to Harrison Hotsprings for lunch.
We only had one hour for lunch due to the time lost on the way due to lost of our way.
After walking down the Village Mall, we (Marian, Lorna & I) decided to have our lunch at Black Forest Restaurant.
Black Forest Restaurant is a German restaurant.
The interior is dimly lit and cozy.
We ordered soup to start with as the weather was cold and wet. Marian had a lentil soup.
I opted for Gulash soup which is slightly spicy. Good for cold weather.
Lorna ordered the Onion Soup and she likes it. Dim lighting is not good for photo.
We ordered two main dishes to share. The above is Pork Hock. It is a big hunk of pork hock served with some potatoes, broccoli and carrot.
The second dish we ordered was Madagascar Schnitzel. It was topped with mushrooms. Due to the short of time, we had most of the above packed to go.
Credit card is accepted here.
We managed to snap a few photos on the way back to the bus.
We would love to have more time here to enjoy the view and walk along the lake.
