It has become a tradition for us to go to Bellingham for Black Friday shopping. With the unfavourable exchange rate, there is no wait time at the border.
We went to Home Skillet for breakfast as Nanzaro wanted to eat at a diner. You’ll know you are at the right place as there is a large skillet decorated the bicycle stand.
The restaurant is very colorful, including the chairs at the outside for waiting customers.
We were seated at the counter since all the tables were occupied. I like the lighting made of mason jars.
Nanzaro ordered the Meaty Veggy Skillet. The only thing he did not like was the present of tomatoes. He simply does not like the texture of tomatoes. So, the tomatoes made their way to mom’s plate.
Ben ordered a Meaty Burito. It was massive.
The burito was loaded with meat.
They offered a bucket of hot sauces of different varieties. They were not too spicy.
I preferred sweet breakfast. So, I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast.
Since I had a bit of Ben’s burito, I had half of my French toast to go.

It seems like they do not encourage large group.
