The community kitchens in Richmond got together for a potluck to celebrate the end of 2016.
Lots of home-cook food for sharing.
Assortment of noodles dishes.
Japanese dishes.
Cucumber salad, Chicken Salad, Potato Salad and a Vegetarian dish.
Meat dishes include Marinated Beef Shank and Tendon, Pork Ribs, “Mui Choy Kao Yoke” and Basil Chicken.
Fried sticky rice and rice dumplings.
Mah Poh Tofu and some savory “kuey”.
Store bought cream puff and pastries.
Some sort of nian-gao and soy pudding.
Red bean soup to go with some glutinous rice balls.
I made cheesecake brownies and someone brought fruits. Thank you all sharing such a wonderful meal.
Lastly, lucky draw for each family to bring home a small gift.
