My youngest brother brought me to the night market in the neighbourhood where my sister lives.
The night market comprises of sellers from clothing, toys, vegetables, fish, meat, snacks and many food stalls. Here are some of the pictures which I took.
Putu mayam, an Indian snack.
Roti John.
Satays.
Ben’s favourite Apam Balik (“Jin Loong Bao”), the thick version.
The above is the thin version but I have not try one that is rolled in this manner.
Economical fried noodles and rice, also Ben’s favourite.
Freshly squeezed sugar cane juice and young coconut juice.
“Yeong Tao Foo”.
I had the pineapple Yu Yu Ice while my niece had the Orange Lime.
We also bought some cakes for breakfast the next day or two.
Japanese Cheesecake. Cheesecake is RM10 (about CAD3).
Passion fruit sponge cake.
Mint Chocolate Cake. Layer cake is RM8 (about CAD2.50).
