Ben and I went out for a meal on a Sunday with Arkensen as Nanzaro was out with his friends.

We went to Central at Garden City. Arkensen picked Thai Son for comfort food.

Thai Son was quite busy when we arrived.

Arkensen ordered the No. 1 house special (Pho Dac Biet). Both of us felt that it was bland.

The soy bean sprout and basil which came with the noodle soup were fresh.

I ordered the shredded pork & grilled pork  on vermicelli with assorted fresh vegetables to share with Ben.

This came with fish sauce as a salad dressing.

Ben ordered the Special Vietnamese Beef Brisket Served with French Bread to share with me. The Beef Brisket Stew had a strong spice flavour.
Thai Son accepts cash only. The meal came to $30 including tax and tips.
We felt that the male server who attended our table was quite rude.
