My family was in the Delta/Surrey neighbourhood for a special event. So, we decided to have lunch here after the event.
Ben brought us to Tasty Indian Bistro in Delta. We were there before noon and got a parking spot without problem. But when we left, the parking lot was full. As we exited the restaurant, a lady approached us and asked us if we were leaving. She then stood at our spot and made a call, probably for someone that has been looking for a parking spot.
The decoration looks on the high end side.
I like the bronze cutlery.
Arkensen ordered from the lunch special; Non-veg Special for CAD13. He opted for the Goat Curry. The other option is Butter Chicken. The lunch special came with 2 pieces of Tandoori chicken on top of some basmati rice.
The lunch special also comes with a naan and Veggies of the day which is Palak Paneer. The lunch special is good deal.
Nanzaro ordered the Lamb Saag for CAD15.00. Nanzaro ordered a serving of basmati rice to go with his Lamb Saag. The plain basmati rice is CAD4. I was surprised that he would ordered something so green.
Ben and I shared two dishes. The first dish was Lamb Biryani for CAD16. The boneless lamb was quite tender.
Ben also got the Chicken Vindaloo which was quite spicy.
We also ordered an Onion Kulcha which is quite sweet by itself. We dipped the Onion Kulcha with the Vindaloo sauce.
There are some pickled pearl onion in the Vindaloo Chicken too.
