Steamed Egg with Minced Pork

This is another home cooked comfort dish.

The above Steamed Egg with Minced Pork has a softer texture than just steamed minced pork.


  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1/4 to 1/3 pound of minced pork, seasoned with a little salt, white pepper, soy sauce, rice wine and sesame oil
  • chopped green onion


Beat eggs in a large bowl.

Mix in minced pork and chicken broth and beat until minced pork is not lumpy.

Place mixture into a pie plate.
Bring water to a boil in a wok. Steam egg mixture for 12 to 15 minutes on high until the egg is set and the pork is cooked.
Garnish with chopped green onion, a few drops of sesame oil and a teaspoon or two of light soy sauce.
