Prata Man on Capstan Way, Richmond

Ben and I went to Prata-Man for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after church service.

We arrived around 1PM and the restaurant was full. But we did not have to wait long for a table.

The menu seems to have been simplified compared to our previous visit here. You can click on the menu to have a larger view.

Ben ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice. He originally wanted to order the Mee Goreng but when he saw the dish from a neighboring table, he changed his mine. The chicken was served boneless.

Ben enjoyed the oily rice which came with his Hainanese chicken.

The ginger and green onions condiment was good as it provides the saltiness to the chicken.

A simple plain chicken broth accompanied the Hainanese Chicken Rice.

I ordered the Curry Chicken Noodle Soup. The curry chicken was nice. This dish took a long time to arrive as Ben had already finished his dish. The server told us the bone in chicken takes longer to cook.

You can have yellow noodle or rice vermicelli with the Curry Chicken Noodle Soup. I opted for the yellow noodle (known as oil noodle).
The meal came to CAD20 and this is a cash only place. I am impressed that this restaurant has stands the trial of time. It has been around for more than 17 years as far as I can remember.
