A Stroll Along New Westminster Pier Park


On a Saturday cloudy morning, Ben and I went for a walk at the New Westminster Pier Park.

This 2.5km waterfront park connects visitors to the mighty Fraser River with a pleasant Waterfront Esplanade Boardwalk.

Our walk started at some very nice residential area with a view of the Fraser River.

The Boardwalk is lined with beautiful spring flower beds.

The World’s Tallest Tin Soldier located outside the Quay. It is 9.75 meters, on size 60 E27 boots, and weigh 4,540 kilograms.

WOW Westminster is the largest installation of the 2014-2016 Vancouver Biennale exhibition; made of four containers cantilevered to form a W. It weights roughly 34,000 lbs with a height of 140 feet.

It was a very leisure walk and we enjoyed it very much.
