AAA Restaurant on Alexandra Road, Richmond

My family went for supper at the relatively new AAA Restaurant on Alexandra Road.  Nanzaro wanted to carbo-load before his long run training for Marathon. He is going for a 30km run the next day.

It was almost 9PM and the place was not too busy.

Paper table mat.

It has similar take out dessert offer just like Lido when you spend CAD22 and above. The offer is only for dining in between 12pm to 2pm and from 6pm to 10pm.

Arkensen ordered a Curry Beef Brisket with rice. It was quite a large serving. (more…)

Gami Sushi on No. 3 Road

My family went to Gami Sushi on No. 3 Road for one of the birthday in the family.

Gami Sushi is my boys favourite sushi place in the neighbourhood.

We were there when the restaurant was just opened. This place is busy during lunch and dinner peak hours.

We had green tea for our drink.

Both my boys ordered their favourite Salmon Don. They like that the salmon was relatively thick cut. (more…)

Golden Paramount Seafood Restaurant on Park Road, Richmond

My family went out for lunch on a dreary Sunday afternoon. The rain is welcomed to wash off all the snow on the side walk before the next arctic outflow arrives.

We had lunch at Golden Paramount Seafood Restaurant just because we found a parking spot in front of the restaurant which is reserved for the restaurant.

The restaurant was full house at just after 12:00PM.

We ordered a few dim sum to share. The above was Nanzaro’s choice of Steam Prawn Dumpling. They were not very big but came in 5 pieces. The skin was quite easily came out when picking it up with a pair of chopsticks.

Arkensen wanted the Steam Pork Dumpling with Fish Rose. They are stuffed with prawns too.

img_0988

I ordered the Steam Bean Curd Sheet. The boys did not like this because it has a strong celery aroma to it. (more…)

Ben and I went to check out the new Bahn Mi Tres Bon in the central at Garden City. This is where the new Walmart Supercenter is located.

img_0983

We came just about 7:00PM and the place was almost full. The dining area is not big, with a long table, a few small tables and a casual sofa seating area. Seating is quite tight.

There is a glass display window showcasing their menu, drinks and fake ramen bowls outside the restaurant.
