So Hyang Korean Cuisine on Fraser St., Vancouver

We had walked pass So Hyang Korean Cuisine several times since we have been dining around this area on Fridays.

We decided to give it a try this time. We arrived around 6:30pm and the restaurant was full house. We waited for about half an hour before we got a table. Apparently, most of the customers have reservation.

The waiting area has a small garden with flowing water. The sound of the flowing water is soothing.

We were asked if we want iced water or hot tea for our drink. We opted for the hot tea which has roasted rice aroma.

We saw quite a number of tables ordered the Kimchee Pancake, so we went along with that. The pancake came quickly after we placed our order. I presumed the restaurant have a number of them premade since it is a popular item.

The pancake has a mild tangy and spicy flavour and it is served with a sweetish dipping sauce. I like the crunchiness of the kimchee inside the pancake.

The restaurant served four types of banchans and it is refillable.

We also ordered a Pork Bulgogi which is served on a hot plate. I like the caramelization of the meat.

The Pork Bulgogi has some rice cakes in it. This dish is served with a bowl of steamed rice.

We like this place. But we will definitely make a reservation next time.
Our bill came to CAD36 including tax and tips. Credit card is accepted here.
