After tea time at Le Bread Days, my friend brought me to the real deal.
She brought me to the SS2 Durian stall to get the real fruit.
It is not durian season yet, so there is not many places that sell it now. I was so lucky to have such a great friend to bring me to one.
When not in season, the price of durian is understandably higher.
She bought me one Musang King, the most expensive among all the available ones. This is a little bitter sweet with a “kum” taste.
She also bought me a variety called “Jantung”. This is not bad compare to the Musang King when its price is about 1/3 of it.
The stall provides vacuum pack packaging as many hotels do not allow durian into their premises.
My friend also got me a few young coconut juice to balance the heatiness from the durian. Thank you so much, my friend.
The young coconut juice is refreshing.
