After the yong tau foo dinner, my brother brought us to the night market at the Kepong Industrial Park area.
Most of the clients here are foreign workers. Here are some of the stalls that interest me. The above are the traditional tin for cookies. They are still being used until now.
Dried pickled snacks.
My brother bought one of the pandan flavoured “jin loong bao” to try. I just learned that this is also known as “dai gao mien” in other parts of Malaysia.
There are even deep fried chicken necks and feet here for sale.
Popiah.
We bought a pack of these honey jackfruit for RM10 (about CAD3).
Fresh pickled mango and papaya.
Freshly made various form of Chinese donuts.
We bought a few back to try. It’s RM1 each (about CAD0.30).
Some kind of sugar.
I really wanted to try the Cheese Goreng Pissang. But I was too full to indulge such sinful snacks.
