Sam is a new member of the Caring Place Community Kitchen. He somehow came across the community kitchen through his volunteering network. He is the only gentleman in the community kitchen, a thorn among roses.
Sam partnered with Yvonne to make some Chinese dishes in the Caring Place Community Kitchen. Sam made a very simple Chinese Chicken Wing Dish. The chicken wings were flavourful and the best is the recipe only has 4 ingredients.
Ingredients
- Split chicken wings, with tips removed
- Pure Bean Soy Sauce
- pinch of salt
- corn starch
The key marinate ingredient is the Pure Bean Soy Sauce. This is the first pressing of the soybeans which is of premium quality. It tastes better and is less salty. Its like the extra virgin olive oil which is the first press.
Instructions
Sam, thank you for sharing such a simple and tasty recipe.

Hi Vienna: I hope this entry will help: http://chowtimes.com/2007/01/stewed_pork_in_brown_sauce.html.
Although the blog above is about making stewed pork but you can just substitute the pork with chicken with lesser cooking time. Let me know how yours turn out. If you want me to, I can try to make it sometime next week and blog on it.
Hooray! An nice alternative to buffalo wings. I think I’d add a little minced ginger to the marinade.
Mmmm…simple, easy and I bet, yummy!
Chicken wings would be a good idea as a starter for the party we r having this weekend…all we need to pick up is a pure bean soya sauce, would check out walmart!!
