After visiting the Richmond World Festival at Minoru Park, Ben and I went for dinner.
We walked over to Westminster Hwy and decided to have dinner at C Wok. C Wok’s specialty is Hakka cuisine.
We had the 2 items set meal which comes with soup, rice and dessert.
We ordered a couple of typical Hakka dishes. The above is Hakka Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetable.
The preserved vegetables and sauce are the best complement with steamed rice.
The next Hakka dish we tried was Hakka Braised Tofu with Minced Meats. The Hakka style incorporates salted fish in the minced meat. Does anyone know where can we find this type of square tofu in Richmond?
Ben also ordered an extra appetizer which is Thai style Chicken Feet. They were quite spicy despite their look.
The complimentary soup was Pork Bone Corn soup.
The green bean dessert soup came in a rather small bowl.
Credit card is accepted here.
We will be back to try the Hakka Steamed Salted Chicken as we saw many tables ordered it. This place is very busy. Reservation is recommended.
