Lemon Bomb

For drinks, Colleen prepared a Lemon Bomb drink. Colleen picked some fresh lemon balm from her garden for recipe Lemon balm belongs to the mint family but it has a mild citrusy fragrance to it.

The Lemon Bomb is very refreshing for a warm summer day.

  • 1 bunch fresh lemon balm
  • 6 to 8 lemons, juiced
  • sugar or honey to taste
  • water
  • ice cubes, optional
  • 1 lemon, sliced for garnishing

Add water to fill up the pitcher. Sweetened with sugar or honey to taste. Add ice cubes if desired or chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Garnish with lemon slices and the remaining lemon balm.

This is a wonderful season with old and new faces. We enjoyed the renovated kitchen in the South Arm Community Center. We would like to thank Colleen for pitching in while Michelle is away on maternity leave. We wished everyone a great summer and see you again in fall.
