The Richmond Success Women Club visited the Oak Tree Senior Home to bring some joy and spirit of Christmas.
The itinerary for the visit include Chinese folk dances, Chinese fan exercises, karaoke and games.
After the visit, a group of 14 people went for dim sum lunch at Sun Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant on No. 3 Road.
X.O. sauce; one of the more delicate sauces. Here are the dim sum we had.

Steamed Tripe with Ginger & Green Onion.
Chow Mien with Soya Sauce.
I did not get to try the above. I think it is Rice Roll Wrapped with Fish Paste.
Sticky Rice with Diced Preserved Meat & Dry Shrimp.
Pan Fried Rice Roll with Maggie Soya Sauce.
Pan Fried Eggplant Filled with Shrimp Paste in Black Bean Sauce.
Steamed Chicken Bao.
Steamed Beef Tripe in Black Pepper Sauce.
Pan Fried Daikon Cake.
Pan Fried Taro Cake.
Deep Fried Shrimp & Garlic Spring Roll.
Deep Fried Giant Sesame Balls. They were chewy and very filling.
The meal came to $11 per person include tax and tips.
It is always fun to have dim sum in a big group as we can sample more variety.
