Sticky Chicken Thighs

Minoo shared a chicken recipe from for the main dish at the South Arm Multicultural Community Kitchen.


Minoo served the Sticky Chicken Thighs with steamed basmati rice. The sweetish sauce is great on steamed rice.


  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (we used canola oil)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 to 10 chicken thighs, skin removed (if preferred)




028Combine all marinating ingredients in a cup and mix well.
040Minoo used this liquid soy seasoning from Galloway as it is made with  all natural ingredients like soy protein and water, without fermentation.
039Marinate the chicken thighs for 30 minutes if you have the extra time.
044Pour the chicken thighs with the marinades in a single layer in a 9×13″ baking dish.Bake in a 375F preheated oven for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked and the sauce reached the desired stickiness.
047Turn the chicken every 15 minutes while baking.

If the chicken getting too brown, cover with a piece of aluminum foil.
