Polly and I managed to get together once on a Saturday morning for breakfast.

e met up at the Bridgeport station and took the Canada Line to Vancouver City Center station. From there, it was just a  short walk to Hotel Georgia. We had breakfast at Bel Cafe which located at the corner of Hotel Georgia.

We were there quite early, just before 9 am on a Saturday morning. It was not busy at that time. But, by the time we were about to leave, the place was full.

The decor is modern and sleek.

I had a 12oz Caramel Cafe for $4.91. The Caramel Cafe is creamy and sweet enough by itself.

Polly had a 12oz Chai Latte for $3.04. It looked like it was sprinkled with cinnamon powder.

We started off with two macaroons, Maple Bacon (brown) and Passion Fruit (yellow). They were $2 each. The Passion Fruit macaroon was fragrant and tangy. The Maple Bacon did not make a deep impression to me.

The above Pear Danish was $2.95. The pear which was still crunchy gave a contrasting texture to the flaky danish.

The Quark Danish had a mild cheese flavour. It was $3.04. Overall, we did enjoy the drinks and pastry here. The bill came to $19.62 before tips. Bel Cafe accepts credit card.

I love the passionfruit macaron at Bel Cafe! Even better is the yuzu black sesame. So for these guys make my favourite macarons in town.
